Mai-Tai On The Beach

Mai-Tai’s are a retreat to Tahiti in a tumbler, good for any season but best for the beach in the summer.

Why We Enjoy A Mai-Tai?

A Mai-Tai from the moment it’s name is heard evokes images of the tropics, with a taste to match. It is meant to capture the flavor of the Tahitian islands.

Excellence Is The Name of Mai-Tai

The modern Mai-Tai is based on the recipe of Victor J. Bergeron from his California restaurant Trader Vic’s, though as with most recipes, there is dispute as to who actually created it. Mai-Tai is actually taken from the Tahitian word maita’i, meaning good or excellent.
